Good news for international students. The Trump administration has rescinded its policy that would bar international students who only take online courses from staying in the US.
More than a dozen tech companies, including Google, Facebook and Twitter, had come out on Tuesday in support of a Harvard and MIT lawsuit against the Trump administration policy, arguing that it would harm their businesses.
Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) will revert back to the guidance it issued in March that allows students taking online courses to reside in the United States on F-1 visas.
